Tukulu Eco Village
Situated a few kilometres off jinja road, bukunja kyangwe lugenda village in Buikwe district overlooking Lake Victoria. The facility offers a big camping area for all kinds camping of your choice be it rooftop or doom camping. Those interested in privacy are well catered for at the Tukulu Eco Village cottages with en suite facilities give you a full package of privacy.
The clear views of Lake Victoria will be seen even from your rooms through the glass windows. Take part in the many games available at the facility like cycling, foot ball, net ball, volley ball, Pool table, dart board as well as table tennis.
Be ready to take a walk to Tukulu Eco Farm where you will visit the coffee plantations, graze goats and cows if interested. A community walk to the nearest kisisita forest as well as the river crossing that forest. This will give you opportunity to visit some home steads and learn how they behave.
At the facility, you will be entertained by the local cultural dances carried out by the local young group of dancers looking for basic needs as their parents are not able to provide to them.
Tukulu Eco Village has an open bar, food direct from the facility’s farm, wood-burning pizza oven, BBQ. You can also take part in the cooking as you learn and then after enjoy the meal. Enjoy the camp fire where you will sit and listen as well as sharing information about the place with our story teller. Nyama choma is part of the day.
Nile River Explorers – Jinja
Situated 8km from Jinja town overlooking the River Nile, Explorers River Camp is often referred to as one of Uganda’s, and even Africa’s most memorable places to stay.
Enjoy the fantastic views of the Nile, a well stocked bar and excellent meals have made this site one of East Africa’s most popular places to stay.
Whether you are camping, staying in dorms or rooms, the bar deck overlooking the river is the perfect place to enjoy a cold beer and amazing sunsets. The trees above boast a multitude of tropical bird life and monkeys, and the ‘riverside showers’ alone have become famous for the incredible scenery they overlook.
Lush terraces offer secluded safari tents with stunning views of the Nile. These tents give a nice view of the river while on the balcon. The River Spa offers manicures, pedicures and massages, as well as yoga classes. Its here that camp fire is at its peak after the evening boat cruise.
Boat cruise is the perfect way to enjoy a few relaxing hours on the river Nile. We have a variety of cruises which all start from Explorers River Camp at Bujagali and explore the beginning of the world’s longest river.
Tubing on the Nile is affordable fun for both families and groups of friends. no safari to Uganda would be complete without truly experiencing the Nile from its source. Nile river explorer will also give you the chance to participate in rafting and bungee.
Base Camp – Jinja
The camp offers budget friendly, bed & breakfast, backpacker or self-contained cottage accommodation situated in a peaceful suburb of Jinja. A delicious breakfast is included in your room price and offer all residents free Wi-Fi and access to the swimming pool. The restaurant is open daily from 8am – 6pm and offers freshly made wholesome and delicious meals, with weekly Sunday Brunch specials!
Sipi River Camp – Mt. Elgon
Set in farmland close to the Sipi Falls in eastern Uganda, Sipi River Lodge is a very simple facility, with guest accommodation in 14 cottages, used as a base for treks on Mount Elgon.
These beautiful cottages blend a unique design of vibrant colour, local craftsmanship, modern fittings, and African flavour. And also, a romantic, perched on the hillside with stunning views of the falls. As an added bonus as you share a small private garden that’s perfect for children to run around in and enjoy.
Chepkui features en-suite flushing toilet and power shower, a master bedroom with a giant double bed and a separate lounge with sofas, day bed, and a bunk bed. It can comfortably accommodate up to five guests and is perfect for families and large groups, as well as couples.
Sipi River Lodge spacious cottages offer the best views of the waterfall found anywhere on the property, when you arrive here you won’t want to leave. Features include en-suite bathroom with a double shower, one king-sized double bed, one 4×6 bed, one 3×6 bed, a lounge with a sofa/daybed, and a private veranda.
Sipi River Lodge offers individualized and bespoke multi-day summit treks for those interested in exploring the mountain.
Kara – Tunga Camp
It offers one of its kind tented accommodation and basic guest rooms in the peaceful residential area of Moroto town (centre of Uganda’s Karamoja region). The Karamoja Safari Camp is located in the beating heart of the Karamoja region at the slopes of the extinct volcano of Mt Moroto. The camp design is a blend of traditional customs and local materials with a modern touch.
A unique experience of heritage, comfort and hospitality during a safari through Uganda’s untouched northeast. With a fully stocked bar, and the only place in Karamoja to score an Endiro Coffee cappuccino or late macchiato.

Kidepo Savannah Lodge
The lodge is literally on a stone’s throw from the park. It offers unparalled vistas of the expansive Narus Valley, Mount Morungole and the distant mountain ranges which form the border with Southern Sudan. The lodge is inspired by the savannah surroundings, the grasslands, rocky outcrops, and by the Karamajong, the tribe with their typical manyatta.
You can see savannah elephants, African buffalo’s, oribi and defassa waterboks very often. At dusk, night and early morning you have the chance to see striped jackals and you can hear lions roar and spotted hyenas ‘laugh’.
Of course, there are also various bird species like foxtail ravines and various songbirds. If you listen well, you can hear the African dwarf eagle at night.
It has 8 ‘lazy camping’ tents. Your fully-equipped safari tent, including bed and bath linen, has a heat resistant shelter to protect you from the heat of the sun. The tents are equipped with mosquito nets as well. The shared sanitary area of the campsite is located near the tents and consists of separate toilets and showers. All ‘lazy camping’ tents are located on the edge of the Kawalokol hill overlooking the Narus Valley and have a seat outside of the tent.
Lodge features 8 rooms. These rooms are very spacious and luxurious safari tents, each with a private bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The tents are equipped with mosquito nets. Fort Murchison Camp
Set on the Eastern banks of the slow flowing Albert Nile, Fort Murchison revokes the idea of a well-maintained isolated outpost from times where Arab traders frequented the African hinterlands and legendary explorers led expeditions in search of the source of the Nile.
Built in the right spot and inspired by the historical background, Fort Murchison is unlike any other in Uganda. The massive tower, the earth-coloured walls, the touch of Swahili style. Fort Murchison is situated in the former Aswan Lolim Game reserve, just outside the northern park boundaries of Murchison Falls National Park.
It consists of 12 en-suite units comprising of a spacious bedroom with comfortable beds, bathrooms with countersunk basins and showers with plenty hot water from solar heaters. All rooms boast a writing desk and a private balcony with its own sofa.
It also offers non-self-contained tents. These are comfortably furnished with 2 single beds with mosquito nets, a bedside table and a power outlet for charging your electrical equipment. All tents are placed under a grass thatched roof which creates your private terrace and provides some welcome shade.
The rooftop terrace is the perfect spot for your sundowner drink. After enjoying the breathtaking views of the Albert Nile, guests descend towards the restaurant where a fine 4-course diner awaits you.
Enjoy the pool with one of the best views of Uganda. Even the toddlers are thought of with their baby pool which has the right depth and shade cloth covering for sun protection.
Bwana Tembo Tented Camp
Located 6 km from Murchison Falls National Park (Tangi gate). It has 6 self contained cottages and 4 self contained safari tents. Hot water and electricity available 24/7. Enjoy the Italian home-made dishes with excellent view of the Albert Nile. Rooms are very comfortable with heated water, quiet, conducive environment and a swimming pool.
The lodge has 10 spacious and comfortable rooms with en suite bathrooms and flushing toilets, cold and hot running water and large verandahs where you can relax and enjoy the calm environment and watch the beautiful sunset in the evening.
The bar has a range of drinks and you can always order for your favourite and they shall be served immediately by their nice staffs.
Red Chill Tented Camp
It is superbly located to explore the largest National Park in Uganda. Situated in the heart of the park at Paraa, the camp is just 500m from the ferry, where all vehicles cross for Nile Delta game drives and from where boats depart for Falls & Delta trips. Sometimes you don’t even have to leave the camp for game viewing though hippo and warthog are regular visitors to the camp too!
It caters for fully stocked bar & restaurant below an open thatched roof with spectacular views out towards the Nile. The restaurant serves an a la carte breakfast and lunch menu daily. Dinner is a choice of 3 different dishes daily (one always veggie). BBQ area for self-catering as well as evening camp fire giving you the opportunity to sit around the fire and chat about your safari.
It also offers modern toilets and showers with provision for disabled visitors. En suite bandas are fitted with solar hot water systems, power points & fans.
It offers a range of accommodation options from camping to superior family bandas with en suite facilities. While here at night, you can hear hippos grazing outside and in the early morning listen to the birds calling, as you watch baboons walking along the paths.
Budongo Eco Cabins
It consists of comfortable eco-cabins with private veranda, four spacious dorm rooms, a visitor’s centre and restaurant. These cabins are located deep inside the dense forest for optimum seclusion. There are also either 1 King Size Bed or 2 Twin Beds in each roomy cabin. It offers five comfortable cabins and four large dormitory rooms for larger groups. It has an on-site visitor centre very informative about the local area.
The lodge provides comfortable accommodation and a wide range of activities in the midst of the marvellous natural beauty of the rainforest. Whether you would like to go for bird watching, explore the forest by a guided nature walk or make an unforgettable chimp tracking and watch our cousins from a close distance. Budongo Forest provides all ingredients for an exciting jungle experience!
The restaurant is found in a beautiful natural setting and invites guests to relax and enjoy the sounds of the forest. While getting prepared for your activity, have a cold soda, hot snack or one of our delicious chocolate brownies. It offers a variety of traditional and international meals that will be served outside on the terrace, while enjoying the magical forest that encloses the lodge.

Kibale Forest Camp
The camp consists of 12 African safari style tents, comfortably furnished with twin or double beds. Each unit has its own private en-suite bathroom with an eco friendly toilet, a dressing room and a bush shower.
The tents are set in a lush forested surrounding, often visited by several primate species. Kibale Forest Camp forms the perfect base for visitors looking for affordable quality in a unique setting. Warm hospitality, excellent food and service at a fantastic price/quality ratio can be expected.
The camp is well designed with about 7 safari tents; containing double beds with en-suite bathroom along with an eco friendly toilet. The verandah will give you a perfect view of the colobus monkeys in the forest.
Each tent sleeps two guests and has an en suite bathroom with bush shower and an eco-friendly toilet. When you are not out adventuring, relax on your private veranda on the soft loungers. Its conveniently located near Bigodi swamp, a paradise of birds.
Isunga Lodge
Located amid the crater lake area, Isunga Lodge is the perfect base for exploring this wonderful region. Get close to nature, enjoy the great outdoors, meet the community, slow down, and relax in this therapeutic location.
It has eight simple and stylish cottages spread around the extensive grounds, Isunga Lodge offers privacy and serenity in a natural wild garden setting that makes guests feel like they are the only ones around. The owners and managers, Gerry and Karen, are always on hand to help, advise on activities, travel, and offer a warm and friendly welcome to all guests.
Each cottage is solar-powered and fitted with mosquito nets, ensuring a comfortable and peaceful night’s sleep. The ensuite bathrooms feature hot or cold water, and the family cottage sleeps four, with two bedrooms, an ensuite bathroom, and a sitting room.
The Lodge’s kitchen has access to a wonderful range of ingredients sourced from local markets, together with fresh organic herbs and vegetables from their own garden. Menus for lunch and dinner are communicated beforehand and are flexible to cater to any special dietary requests.
Lunch is a two-course meal, with a main and dessert, while light sandwich lunches with fresh homemade bread are also available, as are salads from the garden. Dinner is a three-course meal, with a starter, main, and dessert. Local dishes are available upon request, and meals can be served privately in your room or set up outside.
Lake Nkuruba Camp
Set right on the brim of Lake Nkuruba, with various monkeys (Vervet and Guereza) playing in the trees around. The service is friendly and excellent. The rim of the crater is densely wooded, which provides for an amazing birdlife.
Spend time in the restaurant, surrounded by nature, and enjoy some traditional Ugandan home-cooked food. Go for nights rest or just visiting for the day, the peaceful camp, monkeys and relaxing atmosphere will allow you to put your feet up and relax.
